ValueJet 1938TX

The Mutoh ValueJet 1938TX is a 75” (1910 mm) Direct to Textile printer.

The Mutoh Textile Pigment Inks are suitable for printing direct to both man-made textiles like polyester and lycra; and natural fibres, such as cotton. There's no need for messy finishing processes.  Printed fabrics can be finished after printing using heat fixation or a calender heat press.

The VJ-1938TX can print direct to fabrics without the need to use a paper transfer method. Mutoh pigment inks give you printing opportunities that are not normally available via sublimation printing, such as cotton and other natural fibres.

Suitable for production runs and yardage, the VJ-1938TX is at its best producing apparel, clothing, home furnishing textiles and custom interior designs; as well as trade show graphics, flags, banners, and more.

The VJ-1938TX includes a dedicated, sensor-driven front and rear feed mechanism, purpose -made for fabrics. This provides tensioning across the width of the printer as the media enters the print area.

The VJ-1938TX is designed with advanced features that increase productivity and quality, such as Mutoh's Dropmaster Technology that reduces the need to continually do bidirectional alignments as is the norm on other less cable machines; and Intelligent Interweave (I2) print technique that virtually eliminates banding.

The ValueJet 1938TX is a 1.9 metre (75") high productivity Direct to Textile printer. Some of the VJ-1938TX features include:

  • Eight colour, 75 inch (1910 mm) direct to textile printer
  • Mutoh genuine textile pigment ink: CMYKOBGK or 2x CMYK
  • Prints to coated polyester or pre-treated cotton and other natural fibres - one inkset*
  • Sliding platen cover makes printing to open weave media easy
  • Dual, staggered head setup with latest generation 1440 nozzle Piezo heads
  • Built-in fabric transport system with sensor driven front/rear tensioning
  • The textile tensioning cylinder is placed close to the platen to ensure even pressure across the width of the media
  • Head height can be set up to 6mm to allow for long fibre fabrics
  • Open RIP software architecture, supported by all major RIP vendors

*Print to both coated polyester and pre-treated cotton using Mutoh Genuine Textile Pigment (TP) Inks. Not all fabrics are alike - testing of fabrics for suitability of purpose is recommended before committing to production.
